"Class not registered" error when inserting the Writer's Workbench CD

The Writer's Workbench installation front end (allowing you to install the Writer's Workbench software and / or the Writer's Workbench video tutorials) requires the Visual Basic tools that are provided by Microsoft Word (and Office).

Install Microsoft Word or Microsoft Office before installing Writer's Workbench.
